Job : Parish Administrator
Position Description
The Parish Administrator works closely with the Pastor, the Council President, and the Congregation Council to manage the business of the congregation including areas of bookkeeping, clerical, staffing, and facility management.

Position Description
The Parish Administrator works closely with the Pastor, the Council President, and the Congregation Council to manage the business of the congregation including areas of bookkeeping, clerical, staffing, and facility management.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly reports
- Kind and responsive telephone and in-person visitor reception
- Assist in coordinating church events
- Organize and maintain an updated online church calendar
- Setup for worship services and other events
- Prepare all electronic and print materials needed for worship services and events
- Attend monthly afternoon meeting with church council
- Record meeting minutes at council and staff meetings
- Prepare and distribute electronic newsletter
- Maintain personnel records and files
- Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and staff for maintenance and upkeep of the church
Qualifications
- Proficiency in the use of standard office tools and equipment
- Strong computer skills with a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google platforms
- Strong oral, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping/accounting/financial practices
- Preference for knowledge in Christian liturgical worship calendar/schedule
- Position requires regular standing, bending, lifting, climbing, talking, and hearing
Hours and Compensation
- Hours: 9am to 1pm, Monday through Friday with some flexibility
- Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Position is a part-time hourly position (approx. 20 hours per week), additional hours as needed
