WEDDINGS
Will anyone guide me through wedding planning?
Yes, Pastor Libby will communicate and meet with you to go over all the details necessary to plan your wedding ceremony. She and CLC staff will also work with you to go over any needed reception planning.
Is pre-marriage counseling required?
Yes, a casual in-person meeting with Pastor Libby will allow you to get to know one another and to have a conversation about marriage.
What will it cost?
The Pastor and CLC staff will invest considerable time to make your ceremony a special time for you. This will include meeting and communicating with you to plan the details you want in your wedding, rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and any travel time. Our Space Use policy lists different fees, starting at $200, with total fees depending upon what is requested: pastor, musician, reception area use, etc.
How long can we use the church?
Our Chapel is available to you for a total of 7 hours. Rehearsal: 2 hours, Wedding Day: 5 hours (3 hours prior to the start of your ceremony, 1 hour for the ceremony, and 1 hour of cleanup.) If extra time is requested, it will depend on availability and there will be an additional charge.
Is childcare provided?
Childcare cannot be provided and nursery facilities are not available to wedding parties. Children must have adult supervision at all times.
Is champagne for toasting permitted?
No alcohol is permitted on church premises with exception to champagne for toasting at the reception and under certain conditions as outlined in our Space Use Policy. Contact us for more details.
What about music and dancing?
Yes, music and dancing is permitted. It is our desire as a church to reflect Christ-honoring values in all we say and do. As a result, we require all music and dancing on church premises to be non-offensive, in good taste, and at a non-offensive noise level.
Do we need to use a CLC pastor?
No. You may request Pastor Libby preside at your wedding ceremony, or with prior approval, have another officiant preside at your wedding.
